Image quality and ordering
Will my original image quality be preserved?
The primary still image is converted to 8-bit JPEG at 92% quality, maximum 4,096 pixels per side, with a white background. HDR, original color profiles and metadata are not preserved.
How do I sort a large batch?
Use Sort by filename for natural order (1, 2, 10), Reverse order, the up/down buttons, or a numeric page position. The list shows 50 filenames at a time. More than 100 images skips thumbnails, but you can still inspect and change every page position.
HEIC and HEIF photos from your phone
HEIC is commonly used for high-efficiency photos. HEIF is a container that can use different codecs; this tool accepts HEVC-based HEIC/HEIF images, not every possible HEIF variant. It decodes the primary still image in each file. Live Photo video, depth maps, extra burst frames and image metadata are not included.
Page size, margins and ordering
Choose Fit image, A4 or US Letter. Auto orientation follows each photo, while portrait and landscape use a fixed page direction. Margins center the photo without cropping. Use the preview-page selector to check each photo before creating the PDF; list thumbnails are omitted because many browsers cannot display HEIC directly.

Does this preserve the original HEIC quality?
The primary image is decoded to 8-bit pixels and embedded as JPEG at 92% quality with a maximum edge of 4,096 pixels. Transparency is flattened onto white. This is a lossy conversion; HDR appearance, color profiles and metadata may change. Keep the original HEIC files for archival use.
Can I convert many iPhone photos at once?
Select up to 50 images totaling 150 MB. Each image must be at most 50 MB, 32 megapixels and 16,384 pixels per side. Files are decoded sequentially to reduce memory use. High-resolution 48-megapixel photos exceed this limit; export a lower-resolution copy first.
Why is a HEIC file rejected?
Renaming a JPEG or AVIF to .heic does not convert it. The file must contain a supported HEVC image. Corrupt files, unsupported variants or very large images can fail. Export a JPG from your photo app if needed and use JPG to PDF.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Decoding and PDF creation run in your browser. The codec downloads when needed; your photos are not sent to a conversion service.
